Siya Sharma

Siya's passion for tutoring was ignited during her high school years at Monte Vista, where she was inspired by her then debate coach. She went on to achieve remarkable success, securing 4th place at Nationals for Lincoln-Douglas Debate, 6th in California in Lincoln-Douglas Debate, and numerous other awards in Lincoln-Douglas Debate, Extemporaneous Speaking, and Impromptu Speaking at prestigious national invitationals such as Stanford, Glenbrooks, James-Logan, and Berkeley.

Recognizing the transformative power of mentorship, Siya is now committed to imparting her wealth of academic and professional experience to her students through mentoring. She believes that her personalized guidance can help unlock their full potential and instill confidence in their abilities.

Currently, Siya is pursuing a B.S. in Economics, in addition to a Certification in TMP (Technology Management Program) at UC Santa Barbara, with plans to embark on a career in investment banking at Rothschild & Co.

In her spare time, she enjoys running on the beach, watching action movies, and spending quality time with her little sister.

Joseph Kebets

After being asked by his then-Chemistry professor to help the class, Joseph’s tutoring adventure began. Quickly building his reputation, Joseph quickly expanded his subject repertoire, tutoring not only Mathematics, but also the Sciences (Biology, Chemistry). After graduating American River College (ARC) with his A.S. in Biology, he went on to UC Davis, where, in 2023, he successfully completed his B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

Today, Joseph works as both a biochemist and a mentor, with plans to apply to PA school.

In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, working out, and collecting ancient coins.

Marie Shvakel

When a friend’s family needed Math help, Marie stepped in, kickstarting her tutoring career. Since then, Marie has mentored 50+ students, ranging from elementary to high school.

Currently, she is finishing her sophomore year at UMass Amherst, where she studying to attain a B.S. in Computer Science (C.S.) and Computational Math.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading fantasy, as well as women’s fiction novels, in addition to taking long walks with her friends.

After graduating with her B.S., Marie plans to further her research in Artificial Intelligence (AI), pursuing a PhD.
